Miriam is Lisa Sullivan in the new US produced Apple TV series 'Now and Then', with Rosie Perez, and Jonnie Sullivan played by Zeljko Ivanek ( Madame Secretary, Damages), directed and produced by Gideon Raff ( Homeland, The Spy).
Miriam played the lead role of Professor Anna Kappel in the WW2 psychological thriller feature “Soldiers of the Damned’. The film won best Director for Mark Nuttall at the Marbella International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Picture.
Miriam’s credits include the lead of Ellie in the C4 film ‘The Third Party’, Sarah in Touch and Go (BBC2), she has worked with Jez Butterworth and Chris Menges. Theatre roles include Goneril in King Lear and Helena in Look Back in Anger.
As an accomplished musician and singer ( mezzo-soprano), Miriam has recorded and performed all over Europe. Her recent pop-folk acoustic album 'Freefalling was released by First Night Records.
Miriam Cooke is also an Archaeologist, Writer, International fashion model, Film, Television and Radio producer, and Broadcaster for BBC (Country tracks, The Story of Now) C4 ( Wild about Britain), five, Discovery and National Geographic ( Egypt Detectives).
